Friends of All Saints’An invitation to become a Friend of All Saints’ Church, Oving, BuckinghamshireGain the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to preserve for future generations the presence, security and beauty of Oving’s most historic building. All Saints’ ChurchParts of All Saints’ Church can be traced back to the 13th century. Built of stone rubble with ashlar dressings, it has been added to and altered many times over the centuries. The bells are 17th century. Who are the Friends?Friends are not necessarily regular attendees, nor need they have any particular connection with the Church’s activities, but they are interested in the well-being, preservation, historic value and the ongoing role that the Church plays in the day to day life of Oving. What are the aims of the Friends?The aims of the Friends are to facilitate the preservation, repair, maintenance, restoration and improvement of All Saints’ Church, including its furniture, ornaments and contents, for posterity. How to become a FriendA membership and subscription form is attached, enabling you to become a Friend of All Saints’ Church. As a Friend we hope that you will wish to give generously, but we would suggest a minimum subscription of £5 per month, £15 per quarter or £60 annually. If you are a taxpayer please consider signing the Gift Aid Declaration which enables us to reclaim the tax that you have already paid. As a Friend of All Saints’ Church, you might also like to consider making a bequest to the Friends in your will. A legacy left to the Friends as an endowment can be invested to provide income for the long-term benefit of the Church.
